I am quite new to Blogging (I only started investigating it a few months ago). Yaro's advice helped me get started. After spending many hours searching for advice on Blogging it is his Blog that I came back to and make sure to check regularly. His advice is hands on and immediately useful. He speaks personally and practically, about what he has done and what he has learned from it. He is also blessedly free of hype. To help you get started and for advice on what works and what doesn't in Blogging I recommend Yaro and his site unreservedly.

I have followed his advice in holding off letting users know how many readers I had until I started to get a few. Now I'm finding that I'm getting more and more - like a snow ball effect. My name's Karen Bellamy and I run Scraps of Mind (http://karooch.wordpress.com) Blog.

I've been receiving Yaro's newsletter for about a year and have always found it interesting, practical and a good read. I wasn't sure what direction I wanted my Blog to take so I didn't really do much with the information in the newsletter for several months. I have a niche Blog so I didn't think it was really important to me.

But back in January 2007 I decided to actively start implementing some of the techniques Yaro outlined in his newsletter and see how they impacted my traffic.

In the four months since I started using Yaro's techniques my page views have tripled on what they achieved over the whole of the preceding year.

I've really enjoyed my time in the program and have learned a tremendous amount of information. In addition, I've formed a couple of close relationships with other bloggers that I wouldn't have encountered otherwise.

You Encouraged Me To Take Action

Now that I've completed the Blog Mastermind lessons, this is a quick note to say how much I appreciate the clear thinking and hard work that you put into it.

The course is extremely well-structured and a good balance between valuable information and practical action points. The mix of different media also works well.

I really like your style of telling things like they are - pointing out the pros and cons and then giving clear advice. You also do a great job of coaching and encouraging action all the way through.

Though the course is well-structured for weekly action, I found myself getting behind at one point due to other commitments. I was then able to catch up again and get back on track so I'd encourage anyone who is in this situation to keep going and not to feel like it's a race or a timetable.
