Will You Win One Of These Prizes?

As an extra incentive and because it’s just a fun thing to do, I’m running a competition for my affiliates. The top 10 affiliates will win the following prizes below.

The top 10 will be determined by the total number of new members they refer into the Blog Mastermind program up until the end of August.

Blog Mastermind reopens late July 2008 and the big launch will begin mid July. As with previous campaigns I have done, most people join during the launch period just when the doors open, so I recommend if you want to be a contender for the prizes you begin promotions now and continue to promote throughout July and August.

I provide you with lots of great content you can use to promote Blog Mastermind, all of which are extremely valuable to your readers, so you won’t feel like you have to force the sale on them. Just give them resources and let the value of my content do the work for you.

I intend to make prizes a regular event, so I suggest you consider integrating a permanent promotion for Blog Mastermind into your marketing system. If you want help doing this, please let me know.

Here are the prizes for the top 10. I’ll be sure to update standings throughout July and August as things progress.

1st - Apple Macbook Air

MacBook Air
First place wins a MacBook Air, the thinnest and newest computer from the Apple range. I’m a recent convert to Mac and I won’t be going back. I can’t think of a better mobile blogging device than the Air - it’s easy to carry, has the Mac OS and well, you have street cred when you pull this out at the local coffee shop to write your blog posts.

2nd - Asus Eee PC

Eee PCBefore I switched to Mac a few months back, I was a die-hard Asus fan having used a tiny Asus laptop for the last four years, traveling and blogging around the world with it. The Eee PC is about the smallest Asus laptop you can get - smaller than the MacBook Air even, though I think the Air is cooler, which is why it’s the first place prize and second place will have to settle for this micro Asus laptop.

3rd - Sony PSP

Sony PSPThe Sony PSP (PlayStation Portable) is awesome. I had a Gameboy when I grew up, it was awesome too, but well, it’s old and the PSP is new. It’s amazing what this little device can do and that’s not just the gaming part. It’s got wi-fi, movies, about the best screen I’ve ever seen on a portable gaming device and even RSS - yes, you can read blogs on a PSP too!

4th - iPod Nano

iPod Nano The latest Nano has video, that’s cool. I loaded up some video presentations I did for my membership training program and watched a tiny little Yaro head talk to me. I felt like I had finally made it to TV, even if I was the only person watching. The 4th place prize winner will probably want to find some more compelling shows to watch on their iPod.

5th - Nintendo DS

Nintendo DS Did I mention I loved my Gameboy? Well here’s it’s predecessor from good old Nintendo, a company that still knows how to innovate. It’s not quite as cool as the PSP, but it makes up for it in pure playability, which is what Nintendo always do best - they make fun games. The 5th place winner I hope will have lots of FUN with this prize.

6th - Snowball Mic by Blue

SnowballI recently bought one of these microphones for my Mac set up since I record so much audio and video. I use it to record screenflow presentations and (don’t tell anyone), my secret passion for yodeling. This mic will make you sound crisp, clear and remove any ambient noise, and it all runs off your standard USB connection. Podcasters and musicians will love this prize.

7th - Creative VADO

Creative VadoIf you watched any of the recent videos I put up on my blog from my trips to Las Vegas and Chicago, you will have seen video recorded by my little Vado. The Vado is a great mini camera that plugs straight into your computer via USB, has enough storage to record an hour in high quality or two hours in standard quality video, has a rechargeable battery and is the ideal video blogger tool.

8th - Altec Lansing VS4121BLK Speakers and Sub Woofer

Altec Lansing PC SpeakersI’ve used this exact set of PC speakers and sub with my computer for years. I actually keep a set in Australia and Canada. The deep bass from the woofer is amazing and the two little speakers are surprisingly crisp and clear. Perfect for listening to online music with.

9th - iPod Shuffle

iPod Shuffle To be honest this prize isn’t so good. It’s such a small little player you are bound to lose it and well, it’s got no video so I can’t watch the tiny Yaro on this one like I can on the Nano. I guess the shuffle is good for jogging and sport though.

10th - Frank’s Hot Sauce

Hot SauceIf you manage to squeeze into the top 10 in the final slot you get… hot sauce. It’s actually not even a full size bottle - it’s a sample size. You might call this a booby prize, or maybe this could lead to a taste experience like you have never had before. Well at least you can say you made the top 10…

That’s it for the prizes. Remember you win these based on the total number of new members you refer from the opening of the program in July up to the end of August. You have a full month to promote, however the doors open in late July and most people will join then, so if you want to win one of these and score lots of commissions, you should begin promoting TODAY.

If you haven’t already, make sure you sign up as an affiliate.

Good luck!

Yaro Starak

    Dear Yaro,

Hi thank you once again, as I have joined as an Affiliate, because I at this stage can’t afford the $97.00. per Month as I’m an Aged Pensioner, aged 64, and as Things a very tight at the moment, but I would dearly love to get a Blog up and running, as I do have some good Content, to put out there.
Then who know’s what can happen, No I’m not asking you for a hand up as this is your Business, and its to make money not for Charity,I’ve helped too many people in my life to expect any one to help me:

I’ve Lived in Tasmania, all my Life, and have always thought I’d love to travel some time but thats all been a pipe dream now I don’t even think of travelling any more.

I’m so pleased youi are an Australian, and are doing very well, you sound like, some one i’ve know all my life, but of cause I haven’t, i’m sorry to say.

Anyway I hope I can sell a few of these Affiliate products for you, and maybe make enough to join “Blog Master Mind”.And find out if its as good as every one says it is, it might get this old Geezer, to think about Travelling again who know’s.

    King Regards

    Garry Woods.

Maybe not now, but I intend to make the top ten sometime… say before the year’s end?! And Yaro, please indicate how much we need to sign up to dream about being in the top 10. Better late than never! jon
